Brianne had a soccer game at 9 and then we are done! She is loving soccer. Last night one of her soccer coaches asked her if she broke her leg would she still smile though it. She has so much fun. Yet, we as a family know if she ever broke her leg everyone in a 5 mile radius would know. She sure can scream too! I feel like she is growing so much right now.

Kids have helped me clean the house and then have been outside all day long. Man how I love that they can entertain themselves so well. Needing to get the pig pen set up so we can go get little piggies in the next couple of days. Looking forward to getting ready for fair!!!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-63311993591454457152012-03-29T22:23:00.002-07:002012-03-29T22:29:57.706-07:00choir concertSo the kids had a choir program tonight. I remember thinking that last year the 5th graders were stinkers, but this year I think Livingston will be sad to see them go. Mrs. Wheatly does a phenomenal job!!! She has to be the best music teacher in the Tri- Cities! . Thank you so much for helping my kids grow.

Looking forward to watching Bailie play some softball tomorrow night. Brie has soccer, and even though I am sad to miss it, she is learning so much!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-10316939664603155162012-03-29T15:57:00.002-07:002012-03-29T16:05:57.770-07:00A big sighSo now that Wednesday and Thursday are here I feel like things are back to normal. As normal as my life can be right now. I am actually learning to have fun in this craziness. Kid are doing great playing one sport. Still doing piano. Have a spring recital we have to get prepped for. I am still trying to find time to work here and there. It always seems to happen so I guess I shouldn't stress too much about it.
One thing I do need to remember is to be thankful for all the things I do have. So many times I am so caught up in what others have that I don't. It can eat away at me and make me feel so bitter. I just need to remember that it isn't about the things. Moments matter!!! And I am I doing all I can to make those moments mean something.MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-10874470544141051162012-03-27T10:24:00.004-07:002012-03-27T10:40:42.380-07:00Bragging!So yes, I am Bragging a bit. The Mackay family did a March madness challenge. We all did it in this house. We entered through Fox sports. Well out of all the people in the world who entered through fox sports I am number 160. Yes I picked the final four. So I am bragging! I really did think about it, and Louisville, my underdog team, has been awesome. Even though I don't get to watch much, I love filling out my bracket every year.

On a even better note, Brennan played in his first baseball tournament this last weekend. It was a wonderful learning experience. Brennan needs the confidence. And they took first place, which is a added perk to a great baseball team. Thank you Pasco Sluggers for allowing him to be part of your team. He is learning so much!

Another fun thing, Bailie played a softball scrimmage last night. Got to see her hit a single and then score on a slide. She tells me she also hit a triple, but from the sounds of it was more on some errors. Who cares? She had a great time! Her team is so fun to watch. They are going to have a really good season.

Last thing. I actually worked a full 12 hour night shift last night, and survived!!!! I haven't done one for a while. The reason I did was for Jessie. I just hope baby Hannah makes her debut soon. Can't wait to meet her! Love my job!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-4092255035112067132012-03-21T19:59:00.002-07:002012-03-21T20:07:49.654-07:00A new AdditionMaylee Grace Stevens came into the world yesterday March 20th 2012 at 5:53 p.m. She weighed 7lb 5oz and was 20.5in long. We all could not be more excited. My Bailie has a really great friend named Maylie Grace so she is especially excited. In fact, she asked Marcie and Reagan if we could have her. We were shot down very quickly! Marcie did so good, were very excited to have my good friend Shannon take care of her. She is the best!!!! Then to have Dr. H deliver this one made it even more special. Dr. H has delivered 15 of my parents 17 grandkids. That is so amazing and he has taken great care with every one of them. Reagan described him best. Maylee didn't cry too fast and he said he wasn't worried cause Dr. Hernandez wasn't worried. His calming presence is felt by all! And I have to say, much of the nurse I am today is because of him. So Thank You Dr. H!!! Glad to have a new niece to the family. Can never have too many nieces or nephews in my book!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-38946283335000751742012-03-18T10:54:00.003-07:002012-03-18T10:59:24.345-07:00WeekendLoving this weekend of nothing to do. So many things I need to be getting done. I need an organizational expert to come to my house. I am a bit overwhelmed by taking on this project. Honestly I feel like I need to pack it all up and move out then move back in. I know it sounds crazy, but I think that would work the best for me.
Looking forward to this week. Get to welcome another niece into the world. Should be fun!!!
Also kids have half days this week. Along with conferences. Don't know if I am looking forward to those or not. Going to be busy and fun!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-9542895257999719902012-03-07T21:33:00.002-08:002012-03-07T22:07:01.020-08:00Almost a year!So I was going to try and wait one full year before blogging again since it had been so long. But then there is so much going on. My kids are so busy! Is this good or bad? Huge discussion in the Bunger household. At least only one child is doing 2 sports. The one "sport" I have not relented on is that all three kids will do piano. I am a firm believer in that the kids should play a musical instrument. I am frequently told by many that they never should have quit playing the piano. I tell Brie all the time, you will quit soccer before piano! I guess the thing I struggle with is having a kid that CAN do it all!!! Plays the piano beautifully, plays shortstop for her softball team, and practices basketball at least twice a week. Her I expect it out of. The other two I am consciously aware of the fact that they don't do things like their sister, but are just as important. In fact, I was telling my sister-in-law the other day that I am very happy that they don't have that pressure she has. They wouldn't thrive. Goes to show all kids are unique. And I have to thank Jami for making me realize this. Otherwise I would be one of those moms that made sure ALL of my kids were the smart kids. The best compliment was given to me by Mrs. Vandervert, She told me my daughter was "down to earth." Don't want the smartest or brightest kid, just one that keeps his/her class grounded. Bailie does that! Brennan gets and plays into his teacher's sense of humor, and Brie helps her teacher keep track of those kids that need help too. Sooo love my kids and the values they bring to their classes. And for now, until we figure out the time thing, we will be doing basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and of course piano!!!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-57887934966447187712011-06-06T18:35:00.000-07:002011-06-06T18:36:05.934-07:00summer!!!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-66511979350695535972011-04-16T21:49:00.000-07:002011-04-16T21:59:50.891-07:00A new leafSo I am turning over a new leaf. I am going to start blogging instead of Facebook. Just feel like Facebook is so impersonal. So here I go! Marc and Amy welcomed baby Oakley Aspen yesterday. Lucky nurse I am I got to be there! She weighed 8lb 3oz. 20in long and she has kissable chubby cheeks! Love her so much already! Figured out I am an Aunt to 23 kids and I love it! Today Brennan had a soccer and baseball game. He did so good and was so tired. Brie also had a soccer game that Lance had to take her to. Then we got the pig pen up. Yea! Lance and the kids are headed to get pigs tomorrow while I go to work.MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-56326631659415270802010-11-17T12:42:00.001-08:002010-11-17T12:42:59.752-08:00Grandkids 2010 (36 photos), by Michelle Bunger
I'd like to share my Snapfish photos with you. Thanks Josh and Jenn for having us. We loved the good food and I learned to play Cribbage. Really like that game. It did rain off and on, but my crazy kids could not help themselves from getting into the ocean. Burrr!

I remember saying 2 months ago that once school started and we got into a routine, I would have time to do some things. How wrong I was. Can life get any busier? Needs to slow down! I have so many little projects I want to do. Guess I should start saying once my kids are in college I will have time to do some things. Isn't that funny? I know that wont be true either.
MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-74891281250834105292010-10-28T19:41:00.000-07:002010-11-22T07:36:01.090-08:00Craziness!So last week i offered to come to Oklahoma for my mom, and to my surprise she took me up on it! I am here helping Marcie and Reagan pack. Fun times. My kids are staying with my mom. I have to say the little bit I have seen of Oklahoma I like. It has a small town feel. Lots of wide open spaces. I have to admit after tomorrow I will really enjoy being in my bed. I know what tomorrow entails. 2 moms, 3 kids, 6 suitcases, 4 boxes, 3 carry ons, backpacks for all, and 2 airplanes. Could be interesting. Anyway want to take my place? :-)

On a lighter note, I am an Aunt again. Matt and Debbie welcomed Addelyn Lucile on 10-22-10. She weighed in at 7lb 10oz and was 20.5 in long. Yes I got to be there (thanks Debbie for being such a great sis-in-law) One of the doctors at work laughed when I told him I was there to have another niece. He said I needed a new family. I said no I don't it makes it easier so I don't get baby hungry.
MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-75334780165882559552010-10-02T15:06:00.000-07:002010-10-02T15:16:33.731-07:00Grandpa Bunger
Gramps teaching Brie Dominoes
So we had a touching memorial service for Grandpa Bunger yesterday. It was very nice and I am so thankful for the time we have had living close to them this past year. Grandpa Bunger loved everyone so much. He especially loved having the kids around. He would eat their candy, growl at them, and ask for a kiss frequently. In fact the last thing he said to Bailie was, "give me a kiss!" I will never forget teasing him and him teasing me. I loved the few mornings I got to spend at their place getting to to know him and Grandma. One thing is that I will always remember Grandpa teaching me to play Dominoes 16 years ago. Before you can think about playing he has told you what chips will work. Just 2 months ago he was doing the same thing when we were playing. I wish my brain worked that fast! So I have gotten my act together. Kids came home yesterday with their big packets of school fundraiser stuff and I rolled my eyes and threw them in the trash. Bailie (the smart girl she is) said she didn't even get one because we are already doing a fundraiser for the Diabetes Walk. So my kids are very excited to be trying to raise money for the Diabetes Walk they get to do on Sept 25th. Anyway, here is how you can donate under our name, but online. I will also accept cold hard cash! :) Last year I think Bailie was one of Jenn's top fundraisers. So she is bound and determined to best herself! Thanks for your support!

Go to: http://stepout.diabetes.org at the top of the page click Donate then you enter my name, Michelle Bunger and follow the steps. The kids can get on and see how much has been donated under their name and you can also see under Team Holzer how much everyone is contributing. I have to say I like my kids learning to love a cause and since Jenn is their soon-to-be Aunt I think this will be the one we focus on.

Thanks!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-64256696881128475212010-09-10T15:04:00.000-07:002010-09-10T15:07:59.405-07:00Brianne
So today my little girl turns 7. I am excited and sad at the same time. I guess I should wrap up our month of August. We went camping again. Although, we wimped out and spent the nights at home. I think I was still trying to finish laundry fromt he reunion. I hate laundry! Actually I hate to fold laundry! I can let 5 loads sit in my chair before I decide to fold it. I know, I should just fold it when it comes out of the dryer, but for some reason I don't. Then the kids got to go to horse camp for a week. 7-12. They of course LOVED it. Brennan wants to live their. And Lyndy says she has never had kids who are so willing to clean out the horse stalls. Then came fair! Oh how I love the fair! But it sure is different being the mom. Making meals, getting everyone to the pig barn on time, making all the poster boards. Needless to say it was a learning experience. To top it all off we had a couple pigs die. My kids are definitely learning all about the cycle of life and that those pigs sure will taste good! :) Bailie was so cute showing her pig. Very nervous. She got a red and blue ribbon which she was so happy about. She sold her pig for $6.00 a pound which is awesome! Thanks to dad and Uncle Josh. And of course Blake and Lynn. Then she got Reserve Grand Champion for her quilt she did at quilt camp. She was so happy about that! Fun Fun August. Now we start soccer, fall softball, and piano again! Grateful for a schedule! Hopefully I can find time to work now that all three of the kids are in school all day! Repeat, ALL DAY!!!!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-17199605643855213382010-08-10T05:41:00.000-07:002010-08-10T06:03:44.768-07:00Some interesting storiesSo I have a few kinda funny things that have happened this past couple of weeks. First of all, I believe I have mentioned before how much I do not like mice. Well, there was a little mouse in my basement that Lance and I both looked at to see if it was dead. The minute I saw him bend down to pick it up, I ran up the stairs to lock myself in the bathroom. After about 5 min of Bailie and Maddy coaxing me to come out, Lance barged into the bathroom and flung the mouse around the door at me. I really did wet my pants. Bailie and Maddy thought it was hilarious.
Well a couple nights ago Brody, our dog, was barking like crazy. I go outside to see what was up and I hear hissing at the bottom of the outside basement steps. Sure enough a little bull snake had gotten down there. I really hate snakes, even more than mice. Good thing Lance was kind enough to not throw it at me. I am sure I would have had a heart attack on the spot.
So then the other morning woke up to poor Brody with porcupine quills in his face. The kids proceeded to get their B B guns and find the porcupine. Sure enough they found it and chased it up a tree. Somehow it came down and got poor Brody again. A kind neighbor came and killed the porcupine. Then Lance had to knock Brody out so he could pull about 150 quills out of him. Poor dog. Those things are awful.
So are you all thinking Michelle lives with a bunch of rodents? I am starting to wonder myself. I guess I am truly living the farm life.
Another funny story. At our family reunion there was a period of about 10 min or so that Michael and Marie were looking for Jaxon, their 4 yr old. Poor Marie was in tears. We were looking by the water and in the parking lot. Well Marc found him hiding under on of the bunk beds in their cabin. Of course. Well as Jaxon came out who should be following him, but my Brianne. Both of them had mouths full of beef jerky. I should have know Brie would be in the thick of it. After we had all calmed down, it dawned on me that Brie had been missing the whole time Jaxon was and why wasn't I even thinking to look for her. What a mom I am! Obviously the quiet was Bliss!!!
Fun times! I am sure more fun stories to come as we have started walking 3 pigs morning and night and fair will be here in a couple of weeks. Then back to school already! This summer has flown by!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-87061924886913235662010-08-08T14:07:00.000-07:002010-08-08T14:13:40.316-07:00Home

So we made it home from another fun-filled family reunion. Oh how we love McCall. Spent every free moment in the water. Enjoyed renewing friendships and spending time with family we don't get to see a lot. The picture is of everyone that could make it. We are still missing quite a few!
MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-50083532245610822692010-08-01T22:09:00.000-07:002010-08-01T22:14:12.872-07:00News!!!So great news! Josh proposed to Jenn Friday night. We are all so very excited. Wedding to come in Jan. Love adding a new sister-in-law to my family. Since I would consider her my friend first, that makes it all the better. Congratulations to both of you!!!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-88221700097195159562010-07-30T15:21:00.000-07:002010-07-30T15:27:42.873-07:00Time is flying byI know I am not the only one who can't believe summer is going way too fast! And with so much going on every week, school will be here before I know it!
So what have we been doing? Just went camping for 3 days to Hood Park. That was lots of fun, but I have decided I am not much for tent camping any more. I know I am a wimp, but I would love to be there and sleep in a camper rather than outside. The kids do love it though. We also are looking forward to a fun family reunion in McCall. My kids are great ages to do some fun things like that.
All our cousins are here from Texas so we are enjoying a long fun summer with them.
What else? That is about it. Looking forward to fair coming up in Aug. Can't believe I finally have a kid old enough to show this year. Bring on the fun!!!! Yes I know I won't be saying that in a few short years! But for now, I am going to enjoy it.MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-15649916114532781022010-06-12T22:18:00.000-07:002010-06-12T22:24:50.031-07:00Champs!So wow, after a long day, and totally sun burnt, my 8u girls team pulled out 4 great wins to take first in the tournament. I about had a heart attack. But they did it, and this coach was the first one jumping up and down. So proud of them!
Another thing that makes me want to jump up and down, school is out on Monday!!!!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8603896447030450992.post-91907630041479136092010-06-06T11:07:00.000-07:002010-06-07T19:12:20.925-07:00Caught up!!!
So I am feeling so good. My scrapbooking is officially up to date. Can't believe what 2 yrs behind does to me. My house is now put back together and I can get on to the next big project. The problem is, so many to choose from, what to do....?

Quote for today.. This is a big deal for me because my days of half day school are OVER!!! I have to say I am truly happy about this. What does it mean? Probably that I need to work more. But maybe, just maybe, I will have time to do those fun things I want to do. Yes I am selfish!MichelleBhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08754216838577720435noreply@blogger.com0
