A new leaf
So I am turning over a new leaf. I am going to start blogging instead of Facebook. Just feel like Facebook is so impersonal. So here I go! Marc and Amy welcomed baby Oakley Aspen yesterday. Lucky nurse I am I got to be there! She weighed 8lb 3oz. 20in long and she has kissable chubby cheeks! Love her so much already! Figured out I am an Aunt to 23 kids and I love it! Today Brennan had a soccer and baseball game. He did so good and was so tired. Brie also had a soccer game that Lance had to take her to. Then we got the pig pen up. Yea! Lance and the kids are headed to get pigs tomorrow while I go to work.

Nov so far
So have to say we had a fun 3 days at the Oregon Coast. Thanks Josh and Jenn for having us. We loved the good food and I learned to play Cribbage. Really like that game. It did rain off and on, but my crazy kids could not help themselves from getting into the ocean. Burrr!
I remember saying 2 months ago that once school started and we got into a routine, I would have time to do some things. How wrong I was. Can life get any busier? Needs to slow down! I have so many little projects I want to do. Guess I should start saying once my kids are in college I will have time to do some things. Isn't that funny? I know that wont be true either.

Craziness!
So last week i offered to come to Oklahoma for my mom, and to my surprise she took me up on it! I am here helping Marcie and Reagan pack. Fun times. My kids are staying with my mom. I have to say the little bit I have seen of Oklahoma I like. It has a small town feel. Lots of wide open spaces. I have to admit after tomorrow I will really enjoy being in my bed. I know what tomorrow entails. 2 moms, 3 kids, 6 suitcases, 4 boxes, 3 carry ons, backpacks for all, and 2 airplanes. Could be interesting. Anyway want to take my place? :-)
On a lighter note, I am an Aunt again. Matt and Debbie welcomed Addelyn Lucile on 10-22-10. She weighed in at 7lb 10oz and was 20.5 in long. Yes I got to be there (thanks Debbie for being such a great sis-in-law) One of the doctors at work laughed when I told him I was there to have another niece. He said I needed a new family. I said no I don't it makes it easier so I don't get baby hungry.

Grandpa Bunger
Gramps teaching Brie Dominoes
So we had a touching memorial service for Grandpa Bunger yesterday. It was very nice and I am so thankful for the time we have had living close to them this past year. Grandpa Bunger loved everyone so much. He especially loved having the kids around. He would eat their candy, growl at them, and ask for a kiss frequently. In fact the last thing he said to Bailie was, "give me a kiss!" I will never forget teasing him and him teasing me. I loved the few mornings I got to spend at their place getting to to know him and Grandma. One thing is that I will always remember Grandpa teaching me to play Dominoes 16 years ago. Before you can think about playing he has told you what chips will work. Just 2 months ago he was doing the same thing when we were playing. I wish my brain worked that fast! Love you Gramps! We are better for having know you!

Diabtes Walk
Hey everyone! So I have gotten my act together. Kids came home yesterday with their big packets of school fundraiser stuff and I rolled my eyes and threw them in the trash. Bailie (the smart girl she is) said she didn't even get one because we are already doing a fundraiser for the Diabetes Walk. So my kids are very excited to be trying to raise money for the Diabetes Walk they get to do on Sept 25th. Anyway, here is how you can donate under our name, but online. I will also accept cold hard cash! :) Last year I think Bailie was one of Jenn's top fundraisers. So she is bound and determined to best herself! Thanks for your support!
Go to: http://stepout.diabetes.org at the top of the page click Donate then you enter my name, Michelle Bunger and follow the steps. The kids can get on and see how much has been donated under their name and you can also see under Team Holzer how much everyone is contributing. I have to say I like my kids learning to love a cause and since Jenn is their soon-to-be Aunt I think this will be the one we focus on.
Thanks!
