Crazy days!!!

So first off have to say, Happy Birthday to Gavin, Jaxon, and Lakin. Can't believe how time is flying by. My nieces and nephews make me so happy. I thank all if you for letting me smother them when I get to be with them.

Lance and I just got home from a long 5 days in Vegas. Oh boy did we have a great time. Josh and Jenn were great traveling companions. Actually they are awesome and it was so good to get away. We saw Brooks and Dunn on concert. I LOVED that. And we went to the NFR which was great! The other thing I realized is that I missed my kids more this time than I ever have. I think that us mostly because so much of what we did they would have loved!!! Now don't get me wrong, they had a great time with G&G Mackay, so they didn't miss me too much. Thanks so much to my awesome parents for taking such great care if them.

Anyway, now back to normal life. I am trying to get my Christmas quilt done. One thing a lit of people may not know about me , is that I love quilt patterns and to sea them together. I tried to hand quilt my last one and I will never do that again! So now if I could only talk Lance into buying me a quilting machine. Oh what fun I cold have and what money I could save! ;) he sees it as me spending more on fabric. Pribably true!

Fun Saturday

So what a fun day. Kids spent a couple hours at Rollarena. (Thanks Kasey!) now we are headed in to visit the Grandparents. The kids are off to a play with G&G Bunger. I think Lance and I will head to dinner. So nice to be able to spend time with him. I have to say, I really love this time of year. I love the cold mornings and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I got to work, which was nice. Three nights of awesome patients makes it all worth it!

Just on my mind

The last few weeks have been a flurry of activity. I just don't know where the time goes. Lances grandparents have moved here. We are so excited. My kids are loving it, and I am enjoying them so much. I realize how short our time with them may be after losing our adopted grandpa and grandma Flippo within the last 3 months. Sad times but thankful for what we had.

Lion King was as great as always. My kids LOVED it. Only problem it is so late. They had a hard time staying awake. It was well worth the money and I know they will always remember it.

I don't know what has gotten into me. I decided all my closets needed reorganizing. Yesterday pulled everything out of them rearranged
and now I have to tackle my room. I think living in a smaller house had made me a bit more aware if the clutter. Before it could be spread out more and it didn't bother me. Now not so true. I have to say I feel so much better with clean closets!

Not quite a year

So I miss blogging! Hence I am back!
So LOVED New Moon last night. Made me miss being 17. I thought it was so much better than the first one. Now I really am excited for Eclipse. Thanks to Alicia and Kim for coordinating the pre-screening. It was great!

I am so excited for today. Taking the kids and headed with the Wilson Family to Lion King. They are so excited!!! And I am excited to see their reactions. Bailie just wants to make sure she doesn't have to wear a dress in the car. She wants to be comfortable. That girl loves her jeans and sweats.

Ok I guess that is all for now. To my sisters, I will try to get some new pictures up soon. Still working on getting that computer of mine up and going.

A Great Vacation

So a couple weeks ago we took our annual trip to Schweitzer. The kids love to ski and I love to watch. The mountain is so pretty. We had a great time with our Wilson cousins and even Avery got to come with us. The kids took right to where they left off from last year and Brennan even gave snowboarding a try. He did so good! Thanks Lane and Beth for going with us. We had a great time!

10 years of BLISS!!!

Yea right! Anyone that knows Lance and I very well will laugh at that heading. But we have made it 10 years. I always have to add that we have dated for almost 5 before that. Lance and I met in high school. The first day I saw him I knew I was going to marry him. Pretty crazy. I was so young. Here is a good story about us. I am a journal writer. I write everything. Well Lance and I got married on Jan 16th 1999. When we were moving into our first house I was going through old journals. I came across an entry for Jan 16th 1994. That was the first night Lance ever kissed me. So sweet! Well honey, here is to 10 more years of bliss! I love you!
