Kyson Michael

So finally he is here! I am an aunt again. Michael and Marie had their second baby boy yesterday Sept 21st at 12:14 p.m. He weighed in at 9lb 1oz and was 19 1/4in long. I think my brothers produce big babies!!! They are doing well. Kyson initially had some low blood sugars so he had to spend the night in NICU, but this morning he is back with his mom and dad and doing well. Marie did such a good job and yes I took care of her all night and went home to sleep and missed the delivery again! That is the second time that has happened with her and it happened with Amy too. I know that they are well taken care of and really don't need me, so I should just get over it right? I love having new babies around and Kyson has the chubbiest cheeks! Today I am going to hold him and kiss those cheeks like crazy! I am the aunt that drives all the kids crazy with kisses. Probably why my kids kiss on every baby they are around too. Although I must say Kyson's older brother Jaxon, loves to squeeze and kiss babies. Just ask Avery and Dallas. Michael and Marie are going to have fun trying to protect Kyson from all those tight loves. I will post some pictures later on of the new little guy. Congratulations Mike and Marie!!!

Who am I?

You Are Jasmine!

Independent and adventurous. You don't want much; just to break out of the guilded cage society has put you in and experience life to the fullest. Following orders isn't really one of your strong points, and you would rather live a life of poverty than being forced into something that you hate.

Which Disney Princess Are You?

I got this off Becky's blog. Was fun to do!!! Now I can't wait to see what princess you all are!

My Dad

Today is my Dad's birthday. What an example he is to me. My dad is so strong and faithful. He has such a strong testimony and his love for the single adults is amazing! He loves all of us kids and supports us in everything we do. My dad Is the kind of dad that will listen and not give advice unless we want it. When he does it is simple and to the point. I love you dad and I hope you have a very happy birthday. You are the best!!!!

My baby is 5!!!

I can hardly believe that 5 years ago (yesterday) I was holding my little Brianne Gayle in my arms. She was my tiniest baby and also my most jaundiced. (It only took me a week to see it) Brianne has done nothing but go go go since the time she was born. She has always had to fight for love, attention, and time. But she sure figured out how to do it. I am sure she gets the attention of most of our neighbors daily. We Mackay's are known for being loud, but I think Brianne takes the cake in that department. What I love about Brianne:

1.) She is spunky!!! (A year ago we were at a hotel and the kids wanted to jump in the hot tub. There were sme teenage boys in there so none of them would go, all the sudden Brianne runs and jumps right in the middle of these boys. Soon they were out of the hot tub and the other kids were swimming with Brie.)
2.) She is determined!!! (She was 3 1/2 when we moved to Pasco and she wanted to ride a bike. I tried to help her a couple of times and she was mad. I will do it myself and off she went.)
3.) She is smart!!! (The kids are working on learning states and capitals. Brianne knows them better than the other two.)
4.) She will try anything!!! (Hence the Drop Zone and the Gravitron at the fair.)
5.) She will be a great teenager because she won't be pushed around or swayed by peer pressure and she will speak her mind. She will be an awful teenager because she thinks she is always right (Oh wait that is a current problem) and we might go broke from buying her shoes. (Aunt Missy better save all hers)

These are not the only reasons I can think of, but they are the first that come to mind. I love you Brianne. I hope I can do good by you as a mother and teach you to love yourself and help my driven and passionate girl turn into a strong and faithful woman.

Elder Mackay is home!

My computer is acting funny, but I just want to say how excited I am to have my baby brother home. Matt flew in Thursady morning from AZ. He served a 2 year mission there and I am a proud big sister. Funny airport moment, mom was telling everyone she gets the first hug, and Bailie thought she should get the first hug. Mom won that fight, but Bailie didn't leave Matt's side the rest of the day. We are enjoying having family around and being together. It is so good to see my parents happy and proud of their son. Here are a couple of pictures from the airport.

September is Here!!!

Happy first day of September! Hopefully everyone has had a great 3 day weekend. Mine has been soooo quiet. My kids left for Grandpa and Grandma Bunger's house on Friday night and I haven't seen them since. Saturday Lance and I got to spend some quality time together learning how to drive potato truck. That was lots of fun, until it broke down. Good thing I made him stop at Wal-mart and buy me a book before we started this day. Finally made it to the potato field. Jenn taught me how to pull vines off the potato belt before they hit the semis. That was fun being able to talk to her for a while. Although I kept her from working because she is usually the one driving one of the trucks. Anyway came home and I looked at Lance and said am I terrible for not missing my kids? We haven't even talked to them. He reassured me that I was not a terrible mother. So we talked to them the next day. I was thinking Grandma and Grandpa must surely need some sleep. They did not want to come home, so Lance looks at me and said, "they obviously don't miss us either." I guess that makes me feel better to know they are having so much fun. Stopped by last night and they were having a fire, roasting marshmallows and looking so cute in their farm boots. I wonder if they slept in the tent outside? Today the quiet ends and they must come home. Back to real life. Discipline and chores. No wonder they want to stay forever. Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for having them and giving them and us a memorable weekend. We sure appreciate you both!
